United Top Premier League

United Top Premier League
United Go Top

Today’s matches produced the results I was hoping for. United returned to the top of the Premier League for the first time since early October thanks to a 2-0 win against West Brom, while City lost away to Swansea 1-0. How significant will these two results be? Only 10 games to go now. As we all know, a lot can happen at the ‘business end of the season’. And, I for one, relish the twists and turns there are sure to be in the coming weeks.

Of course, United supporters are lucky enough to have experienced exciting conclusions to many seasons over the past few years. But this year it’s particularly exciting as City are our closest rivals. It will be fantastic to beat them to the Title. The alternative doesn’t bear thinking about.

So it’s onto Wolves next Sunday. If we can win there, we will be four points ahead of City, who do not play until a week next Wednesday in the League, when they face Chelsea.

Despite several major disappointments, this season could turn out to be very special.
